Senior Application Integration Engineer
One of our financial clients in NYC is seeking a Senior Application Integration Engineer to serve as a key stakeholder interacting with representatives from front office, accounting, finance, operations, sales and business development teams. Through his/her technical and domain expertise, he/she will independently spearhead projects that involve new technologies optimizing data flow and automating systems to improve efficiency enabling business growth. He/She will be responsible for the ongoing management of Enterprise Systems and data management across multiple functional areas.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and implement complex custom solutions
• Define data management, migration & integration strategies
• Work on system integration projects
• Assist other developers on integrating Salesforce data into legacy systems
• Assist Business Analysts in analyzing future state plans
• Drive successful integration of key business data and various Enterprise Systems such as NetSuite, ADP, Coupa, Cogent, Geneva, Castine, as well as in-house applications
• API integration of various third-party accounting software that track soft dollars, compensation payments, mixed-item expenses, and reconciliations
• Establish security procedures with guidance from our CISO to protect and maintain safety of confidential and data.
• Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines easily consumable by end users and other systems.
• Creates repeatable solutions through written project documentation, process flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and straightforward code to produce datasets that can be used in analytics and/or predictive modeling
Required
• 5-8 years of application development experience, preferably in the financial services industry
• Experience with C#, SQL Server
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server and SSRS
Skills (preferred, but not required)
• Experience with APEX, SOQL and SOSL
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Salesforce Developer Certifications
• Source control tools such as GitHub and/or TFS
• big data tools & data warehousing
• Financial services industry experience
• RPA - Robotic process automation and familiarity with an enterprise system automation
• .Net core
