Job Description
PRODUCTION SUPPORT ANALYST
One of our Fintech clients is seeking a Production Support Analyst to join their team in their NYC office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain invaluable experience in a fast paced, rapidly growing business environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the in-house developed system
• Server and application health and performance monitoring
• Data analysis of file ingestion, and calculations
• Working with technology and client service teams in New York and London.
TECHNOLOGY MUSTS
Experience with Linux (preferably CentOS/RedHat)
• Experience with command line tools and scripting
• Experience with system performance monitoring
• Excellent communication skills and team work, and ability to document work
• Experience managing queues and working with ticketing systems, preferably JIRA
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
KNOWLEDGE:
• Knowledge of Python programming language
• Knowledge of SQL (preferably PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of file formats and conversions
• Degree in Computer Science or other relevant subject preferred
