IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST

 

 

 

This role is a cross between a project manager and an implementation specialist. The incumbent must be client ready, able to manage multiple projects/competing priorities as well as technically strong.

 

 

 

  • 2-4 years of experience in a securities environment
  • Good understanding of Equities life cycle
  • MUST have Strong technical understanding of FIX
    • Able to dissect messages
    • Has memorized key tags
  • Experience working with clients
  • Strong communication skills (Written and verbal)

 

 

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Engage client and internal resources and drive the delivery of the acquired service within agreed scope andbudget

 

 

 

  • Project planning including developing work plans, creating resource plans, and managing day- to-day project issues and driving them toresolution

 

 

 

  • Ensure proper scope management and manage the expectations of internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage technical configuration and key-in static data valuesUAT

  • Provide hands-on design and support solution inproduction

  • Collaborate with internal development and QA teams to provide optimal clientsolutions

  • Prepare and manage transition to BAU teams (Client Support and Onboarding) including packaging documents, providing training and holding company-wide information sessions leading up to and postgo-live

 

 

 

  • Consult and share market experience with theclient

  • Provide pre-sales support including demos asneeded

 

 

 

SKILLS:

 

  • Understanding and/or experience with securities products- futures and options, equities, fixed income, etc.., middle and back officesystems

  • Good understanding of equities life-cycle(preferred)

 

 

 

  • Must have strong technical understanding and/or experience of FinancialFIX

  • Experience managing client relationships at alllevels

  • Experience supporting financial applications including trade posting, reporting, and exception handling / troubleshooting - anadvantage

 

EDUCATION:

 

BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, MIS

 

 

 

EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 2 - 4 years’ work experience either within an investment bank or a systemsvendor

  • 2 - 4 years’ work experience in Project management or product management.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a professionaldemeanor

  • Entrepreneurial, willing and ability tomulti-task

  • Ability to manage multiple schedules andcommitments
