CLIENT INTEGRATION MANAGER

 

 ROLE SUMMARY:

The Integration Manager will be responsible for working with in house clients to integrate the company product range. The integration role will cover STP, automation of settlement, Quoting and trading flows. The candidate should be able to successfully run multiple projects for different services in parallel, as well as manage a third party development team.

  Experienced FIX / API Integration Specialist

 

Ø  Ideally with background deploying API’s for or to banks – FX or Cross Asset a bonus

Ø  Good knowledge of API troubleshooting tools

Ø  Experience with Unix commands

Ø  Good understanding of Networking

Ø  Self-Starter – Ability to work on your own on multiple client integration projects, managing time and clients expectations

Ø  Excellent client facing skills

 

 

 

 

 KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop and manage relationships with clients, working closely with business and technology teams to deploy solutions to our clients.

Work with the Sales Team to provide pre-Sales Technical support.

Build relationships and processes with the internal teams who will assist with the customer deployment.

„h Ensure regular communications take place between stakeholder, facilitating meetings and bring key stakeholders together to ensure a positive client experience.

„h Complete projects in line with Sales and clients expectations.

„h Ensuring structured and effective delivery of service.

Owning the Deployment Project and ensuring the client is effectively handed over to Customer Support.

 

Skills & Experience:

Experienced FIX / API Integration Specialist.

„h Experience with Unix commands.

„h Ideally with background deploying API’s for or to banks – FX or Cross Asset a bonus.

„h Self-Starter – Ability to work on your own on multiple client integration projects, managing time and clients expectations.

Excellent client facing skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.

With regards to our API’s the primary are FIX Gateway and Company Live Ultra. Ideal requirements for these are listed below:

FIX GW

- Secure Socket Layer technology (Our client uses Stunnel as the SSL client)

- Openssl (freeware)

Experience with Unix commands

- Understand how to read FIX specification

- Under SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)

- Understand the concept of conformance test

- Scripting to automate manual processes (setting up FIX GW sessions, upgrades, start up after maintenance, etc.)

- Experience with Verfix or Esprow like tools for FIX scenario simulation

- Understand how to troubleshoot issues in UAT/ lab environment and when to escalate issues 

Ultra

- Understand Itch, BPP (Binary Packet Protocol), MoldUDP64 protocol

- Understand Network TCP & UDP protocol

- Understand multicast traffic

- Experience with Unix commands

- Standard Cisco command to check mroute, ACLs, etc.

- tcpdump commands to extract network packets

- Use Wireshark (freeware) to view and decode packets

- Understand how to read Itch specification

- Netscout (good to have) 

Prior experience implementing SWIFT message flows using MT and MX message formats.

 Prior experience of providing automated transaction services and straight through processing to third party system(s).

 Proven track record of delivering time critical projects.

 Service orientated, adaptable and resilient and capable of working under tight deadlines.

 Results orientated, with an emphasis on personal accountability for the pipeline of work.

 Quality and control, with excellent attention to detail and a technical background in IT and network projects.

 Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required.

Knowledge:

 Good knowledge of API troubleshooting tools.

 Good understanding of Networking

 Understanding of Multicast, plus Itch, BPP (Binary Packet Protocol), MoldUDP64 protocols.

 Knowledge of deploying vendor solutions onto client sites.

 An appreciation of network routing and hardware.

 Good knowledge and understanding of other financial messaging protocols – FIX, TOF, XML, web service etc.

 Working knowledge using 3rd party applications is preferable – eg Service Now; Salesforce; Confluence; Visio; etc.

 Well-rounded knowledge of financial markets, especially Foreign Exchange and Money Markets.

 Strong background of implementing STP/Integration solutions.
