DIRECTOR OF IT OPERATIONS


One of our emerging technology clients in NYC is looking for a Director of IT Operations. You must have 10 years of IT Management experience. This position is a remote work from home position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversight of communication, development, implementation, and oversight of a service ownership framework
  • How to manage the development and deployment of training, best practices, awareness, and measurement of service ownership for employees
  • Ensuring the IT end-user experience/support is aligned to the service ownership structure
  • How to measure service ownership and other pertinent data to make informed decisions and drive a culture of operational efficiency and positive customer service ownership
  • Manage Governance Automation plan to ensure productivity commitments are met
  • Partner with respective individuals regarding IT governance to improve and automate Governance Framework
  • How to implement and monitor IT effectiveness, via metrics, on a regular basis
  • Driving operational performance by improving the Governance management operating system, reviewing systems often, monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Managing annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
  • Ensuring large scale technology projects are managed efficiently and in a timely fashion
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
  • 10 + years of direct experience managing large complex technology projects
  • 5 years of direct management skills overseeing and supervising staff in: information systems, project management, implementations, or business process re-engineering
  • You have a continuous improvement mindset and look for ways to implement best practices
  • Knowledge and direct experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring IT project delivery
  • Exceptional ability to establish trust, rapport, and strategic partnerships
  • Experience leading in a fast-paced ever-evolving organization
  • Ability to leverage technology to create, implement and launch automated business processes and procedures across an organization
  • Performing as a change agent for services-driven culture; includes training, communication, creating standards, and validation.
