REPORT DEVELOPER
One of our healthcare clients in Central Florida is seeking a Report Developer responsible for enhancing and developing reports including requirements gathering, analysis, design, programming, testing, and deployment of reporting and dashboard solutions. The primary function of this position is to design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions that leverage EMR/EHR data warehouse, BI reporting and analytic solutions. Collaborate with business owners and end users to identify needs, gather and analyze meaningful data and develop these into appropriately detailed data flow charts, processing logic and requirements. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports, dashboards and systems, and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these. Work with multi-functional teams to design and implement business requirements. Develop detailed specifications, including data conversion, interfaces, and custom reporting to ensure business requirements are met. Define and document setup and configuration parameters while following best practices. Manage reports security, folders security, database security, report schedules and distribution. Integrate the final work product into the production environment by creating deployment files among others. All previous functions could also be performed using other EMR/EHR Reporting Studio tools as necessary. Hence, knowledge in other EMR/EHR Reporting Studio tools and/or willingness to learn is preferred. Bachelor's degree in health information systems, computer science, information technology, preferred with a clinical and health informatics background others EMR/EHR Reporting Studios are a plus SQL development experience with the ability to write complex and nested SQL queries preferred.
