Director of Global Sourcing & Purchasing
One of out global financial clients is seeking a Director of Global Sourcing & Purchasing in their NYC office.

- Summary
- Responsible for Vendor Management program company wide
- Responsible for Sourcing & Procurement company wide
- Responsible for Corporate Secretary functions and Policies/Procedures management company wide
- Responsible for Travel Management administration and reporting company wide
- Responsible for managing licenses and subscriptions company wide
- Responsible for invoice and P.O. processing for COO perimeter
- Provide administrative assistant function for COO perimeter
- Key Responsibilities
- VM policy: maintain and train on the policy, keep up to date on regulations and update policy accordingly
- Annual review: perform annual review of vendor risk and update key service provider quadrant
- New vendor on boarding: coordinate new vendor on boarding including risk assessment
- Remediation: establish and monitor execution of remediation action plan
- Outsourcing contracts: manage outsourcing relationships (MUSO & ACBS contracts for IT, as well as other initiatives), follows quality of service and perform risk assessment based on pre-defined KRI.
- Vendor Management Program (VMP):
- Sourcing & Procurement:
- GSP Roadmap: coordinate Americas GSP cost management roadmap
- Sourcing projects: manage/negotiate sourcing projects company wide, ensuring compliance with company purchasing and procurement policies
- Replenishment: manage procurement of resources and administration (consulting via EASY, telecom via TEM and IT via Oracle)
- Contracts: manage contractual documentation
- Corporate Secretary and Policies/Procedures management:
- Manage delegation of powers function company wide
- Maintain central repository of all policies company wide and manage annual review process
- Provide technical writing function to assist business units and support functions in development and maintenance of their policies and procedures
- Travel Management:
- Ensure compliance with Group policies
- Help business units and support functions reduce/optimize travel expenses
- Provide reporting to facilitate management of company wide travel expenses
- License and Subscription Management
- Manage PRENAX service for subscription management company wide
- Renewal: coordinate license contract renewals with Product License Officer
- Invoice and P.O processing: process invoices and purchase orders for COO perimeter
- Management and Reporting
- Local hierarchical reporting: COO
- Global functional reporting: Global Head of GSP
- Key Internal contacts
Essential Knowledge and Skills
- Undergraduate Degree
- Sourcing & Procurement, Outsourcing/Offshoring contract management
- Certified Purchasing & Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent
- Good general managerial skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communications skills
- MS Office
- Visual Basic
