Job Description
RISK ANALYST CONSULTANT
Our financial client in NYC is seeking an experienced Risk Analyst Consultant to work as a member of the Risk team focusing on Fixed Income but with the opportunity to learn about various assets classes and products across multiple business lines. The individual will have the unique opportunity to rapidly grow professionally as the team integrates into a shares services model within the company covering across all aspects of the Risk framework, from initial client on-boarding, data and systems integrity, reporting, and risk/capital methodologies.
NEEDED SKILLS:
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical skills
• Basic understanding of financial statements and financial ratios
• Basic understanding of risk factors including VaR methodologies, mark to market (P&L), and capital adequacy
• Intermediate to Expert knowledge of Excel & other MS products, programming skills a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
KNOWLEDGE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a technical field such as Engineering or Mathematics
EXPERIENCE:
• 1-2 Years Work Experience a plus
