Job Description
A combined platform delivery and operations role where you will have responsibility for identifying and resolving second line support issues, maintaining the production corporate environment and assisting with project delivery tasks. Also, responsible for following established guidelines and processes. Individuals are expected to contribute to work flow or process change and to have a strong understanding of the Business and IT function.
A delivery and operations role where the split between delivery and operational responsibility will be 50/50
KNOWLEDGE:
• Must be able to demonstrate competency and exposure to:
o Active Directory, authentication and access management
o Messaging Infrastructure – MS Exchange & Skype for Business, on-premise & on-line
o Mobile Device Management – Good, Blackberry Work, etc
o PowerShell
o AWS
o VMWare ESXi
o Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Infrastructure Services - DNS, WINS, DHCP, etc
o Red Hat Linux
o PKI
o Enterprise Storage
o Office 365
o Blackberry Work
o Mimecast
o SharePoint on-line
o TCP/IP Networking, OSI Model, Corporate WiFi Networking
Experience:
• 3-6 years’ experience within a Systems AdministrationSystems Engineering role, required
• 1-2 years’ experience in a Delivery environment, preferably within the Private Sector, a +
• Good experience of using best practice IT Service Management tools to log and manage user calls
and provide first time resolution where practical. Experience of Service Now is preferred
• Proven track record of solving issues methodically and driving them to resolution
• Candidate must have experience in owning small project deliverables and ability to deliver on the requirements
