ServiceNow ADMINISTRATOR

 

One of our global financial clients is seeking a ServiceNow Administrator that will be responsible for driving development efforts for related ServiceNow project initiative. The person will be part of technology team charged with enterprise IT Service Management design, developments, integration, deployments and Support. This is a technical position interfacing with Customer Support, Operations, Change Management, Program management, QA and Developments. Essential technical tools for success will be working experience in ServiceNow administration/development and integrations, familiarity with Windows and Linux OS administration.

 

The candidate will be focused on ServiceNow and xMatters design, administration, developments and enhancements of key modules such as Problem management, Incident management, Change Management, Service Catalog, Knowledgebase Customer Service Manager, Project Portfolio Management, Asset Management and SLA configuration. Collect and document business and operational requirements, translate into ServiceNow operational procedures, create build/configuration documents, work instructions guide and deliver users training on how to utilize ServiceNow according to our customization. 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

·        Interact with stakeholders gathering requirements to arrive at design solution.

 

·        Responsible for the requirement analysis, design, development, upgrades, enhancements and customizations of different modules of ITSM suite.

 

·        Manage overall Incident and Problem management flow processes and building new templates

 

·        Pull and schedule the reports as per the client requirement.

 

·        Integrate Universal Discovery CMDB and integrating it with Change management and Asset Management

 

·        UI scripts, server-side scripting based on business rules.

 

·        IT Service Management applications development on ServiceNow automate the day-to-day corporate business processes.

 

·        Create portfolio in PPM module to measure the progress of projects and to create project reports.

 

·        Create transform maps for importing CMDB data, automatic field service mapping and scripting.

 

·        Responsible for all scripting changes including client scripts, UI policy and UI actions.

 

·        Build catalogue portal pages using Service Portal.

 

·        Configure Integration Web Services with Third Party applications by using SOAP API Web service.

 

·        Assist in planning and monitoring of work schedules

 

·        Provide support during and after hours for all ITSM escalated issues and upgrades.

 

·        Attend conferences, seminars and ongoing technological training as required by the business

 

·        Adhere to all policies and practices as noted in the company Staff Handbook and Code of Conduct or other formal, informal, written and/or verbal policy / practices statements made on our behalf of  management.

 

Skills:

 

·        5 years working experience of ServiceNow administration/developments (Include scripts, business rules, client scripts, Workflow, UI/Data policy and Web services)

 

·        Service Now Administer all modules and applications (Self-service portal, Content management, Incident Management, Service Request management, Service Catalog, CSM, CMDB, Asset Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Release management, Organization Management, Contract Management, Data Certification, Service Level Management and SDLC).

 

·        Understanding how to configure and manage xMatters application and the integration with Service Now

 

·        General understanding of ITIL best practice, ITSM foundation certification is a plus.

 

·        Strong development background on ITSM, ServiceNow (Geneva, Fuji etc.),

 

·        Strong Java scripting, HTLM, SOAP, MID server customization/integration

 

·        Good understanding of software development life cycle and ITIL framework

 

·        Strong background managing and integrating with various CMDB

 

·        Strong Database knowledge with programming background on SQL Developer

 

·        Programing knowledge of Perl, Shell, C, C++, JAVA

 

·        Operating system knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Window Servers

 

Knowledge:

 

·        Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent certificate and work experience

 

·        ITSM foundation certificate +

 

·        ServiceNow administration certification or proven working experience

 

·        5 years working experience of ServiceNow administration of all modules and applications (Self-service portal, Content management, Incident Management, Service Request management, Service Catalog, CMDB, Asset Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Customer Service Manager, Project Portfolio Management, Release management, Organization Management, Contract Management, Data Certification, Service Level Management and SDLC).

 

·        5 years working experience in IT Service Management process design

 

·        General understanding of ITIL best practice, ITSM foundation certification is a plus
