MySQL Database Engineer
One of our Healthcare service clients is looking for a Database Engineer with 5+ years of experience for their office in NYC.
Responsibilities include:
Design and implement both OLTP and Data Warehouse solution
- Assist developers to construct well-formed and performant schemas
- Perform troubleshooting and optimization
- Participate in performance and scalability planning
- Evaluate tools, vendors, and technologies pertaining to state management
- Write code when and as needed
- Support continuous delivery and other velocity-related initiatives
- Design and maintain access control policies for the company's data sources
Skills needed:
5+ years running relational database systems
Meaningful experience with AWS & MySQL/Aurora
Experience with Ruby and/or Node.js, RDBMS change management tools, continuous delivery, and SAAS a plus.
