Job Description






  • Provide strategic and proactive delivery of services that help ensure the availability and reliability of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure
  • Define strategy and roadmaps with respect to the database, middleware, and communications product and service portfolio and facilitate organizational change by defining strategies for the Firm with respect to technology standards and design goals
  • Provide secure, robust management and operation of enterprise platforms including Identity Management, Access Management, Exchange, Oracle and SQLserver Databases, Websphere, Sharepoint and other Middleware product
  • Organize, direct and guide the teams with the goals of compliance and continuous service improvement; work as a member of the Technology Operations Leadership Team to coordinate with the other infrastructure towers to effectively and efficiently deliver end-to-end service to our internal and external clients
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships with vendors and professional organizations; and with IT's clients, becoming a trusted advisor with key leaders and stakeholders to proactively support business objectives
  • Business executive level escalation point ensuring business expectations, goals and objectives are met




  • Minimum ten years of progressive experience in a large IT organization
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Experience leading, identifying and addressing client needs including actively participating in client discussions and meetings and communicating broad range of concepts in a manner that resonates with executives, management and staff; leadership abilities with a business process and change management mindset combined with technical aptitude
  • Experience leading a large multi-disciplinary team with prior people management responsibilities including career development, goal setting and performance management; experience in service delivery on a 24x7x52 basis to a regulated customer base
  • Experience in the engineering, management and administration of the following technologies is a plus (with having at least two categories a prerequisite) for this role: relational database management systems (SQL, Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL); middleware (WebSphere, WebSphere MQ, DataPower, RabbitMQ); business intelligence tools ( Qlik, Tableau, R, SAS), NoSQL databases (Hadoop, MongoDB); Microsoft communications and collaboration software (Exchange, Lync/Skype for Business, and SharePoint). ITIL Certification or comparable operations delivery experience required
