PROJECT MANAGER

 

 

 

Our Financial services client is looking for a successful candidate that will take the lead project management role for SMARTS technology (owned by Nasdaq) with global responsibility for implementation at our client. This role includes responsibility of functional, performance and technical changes and will be relationship manager and primary point of contact for SMARTS. This system will be operated by our clients IT Operations team.

 

 

 

Preferred Skills/Requirements

 

·         Knowledge of SMARTS system preferred

 

·         Experience managing Market Surveillance tools preferred; good knowledge of broader financial markets a plus

 

·         8-10+ years previous experience working in financial markets/ trading environments

 

·         Minimum 8 - 10 years prior project management experience working in financial markets / trading environments

 

·         Minimum 3 year’s prior experience working for an Inter-Dealer Broker, Exchange, MTF, Investment Bank or similar

 

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

 8-10+ years previous experience working in financial markets/ trading environments

 

 Minimum 8 - 10 years prior project management experience working in financial markets / trading environments

 

 Minimum 3 years prior experience working for an Inter-Dealer Broker, Exchange, MTF, Investment Bank or similar

 

 Professional project management accreditation desired e.g. PMI/PMP or equivalent

 

 Experience of working in a global environment across multiple locations and time zones and with senior stakeholders

 

 Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a finance, business management, science or technology related subject
