TRADING APPLICATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST

 

 Our financial client is seeking a highly motivated candidate to be a Production Support Analyst to provide application support solutions ranging from Front Office trading platforms to settlement/finance/risk systems.
 
Responsibilities/Duties

 

- Work with Front Office/Middle Office/Operations/Finance as a hands-on Production Services Analyst.
- Work with users, developers and Infrastructure teams to resolve incidents, i.e., outages, data feeds, etc.
- Provide automation solutions and/or changes to current process flows to reduce the number of incidents and increase efficiency.
- Effectively communicate with internal teams or vendor to resolve issues.
- Compile and analyze performance/system metrics for reporting to senior management.
 

Requirements

 

1– 2 years of experience working in Tier 1 or 2 Broker/Dealer or Investment Bank
1-2 years of experience in working as a L0, L1 or L2 Production Services Analyst
 
Strong problem solving skills
- Proven experience working with Bloomberg / Fidessa/SSEOMS/CTM/Dealoigc and other vendor  systems
- Strong knowledge of trade execution and order management
- Strong knowledge of trade processing and settlement/clearing
- VBA/SQL proficiency
- Conversant in ITIL
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into non technical language
